HELEN FOX, Managing Consultant

CORE AREAS OF EXPERTISE

  • Helen has led the development of strategies and clearly linked documents to support pragmatic and long-term sustainable asset management programs. Supporting ISO55000 principles and using AMIS assessments to benchmark and identify gaps for continuous improvement as the asset management journey evolves. Helen has worked with sites at every level from chaos and reactive to world class and understands the steps and process of the journey required at each level for meaningful sustainable improvements.

  • Helen has written and supported many maintenance programs from small, pragmatic solutions, to large solutions shared and implemented around the globe. Due to working in highly regulated industries the link between ISO maintenance standards and ISO55000 is always part of any framework. Helen's passion is to ensure that maintenance programs are in place to support compliance and genuinely benefit the life cycle asset using a blend of modern and traditional techniques. Helen is a firm believer that the key to any maintenance management system is the planning and scheduling aspects to ensure timely delivery and has led and developed several planning and scheduling systems.

  • Helen enjoys blending traditional and modern techniques to achieve cost effective, sustainable and pragmatic reliability. Moving from Industry 4.0 where automation was everything, and humans became separated from machines to Industry 5.0 with a more balanced approach, where humans and machines collaborate side by side. Using a blend of enhanced asset knowledge, visual checks and measurements with targeted monitoring sensors and detailed maintenance to generate quality data and make strategic decisions to support value from assets.
